At Cravens we believe in giving something back, in providing for the greater good of the community. But with so many worthy causes out there it's hard to know what to do.

After thinking about it a lot, we chose the area that is closest to our hearts: children. So we work with organizations that share our concern and believe in helping children. Here is what our partners are saying about the work we do together.

On behalf of all of us at Hope House I want to send along our heartfelt thanks for your generosity over the last two year. Cravens's Coffee contributions have been thoroughly enjoyed as well as totally appreciated by all the women we serve in the emergency shelter. You have given the gift of fabulous coffee for women who seldom receive such gifts in their daily lives. We also appreciate the regular maintenance of the equipment. Thank you for your continued support of our work.

Thank you for backing the production and nationwide broadcast of The Visionaries Coffee Kids Documentary on PBS. Craven's Coffee Company's support for this project will give coffee enthusiasts throughout the United States a better appreciation for the dedication and hard work it takes to nurture and harvest each precious pound of beans.
It is heartening to know that you and your colleagues are helping to improve the quality of life for families who live in coffee-growing communities. It is also gratifying to work, in our coffee-consuming countries, with companies that are committed to finding solutions to the current crisis in producing regions.

On behalf of the children and families we serve, thank you once again for being a sponsor of Child Abuse Prevention Day 2000. This has been and remains a wonderful partnership for a common cause. The resources generated help support programs designed to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Wayne R. Rounseville
Vice President
Children's Home Society

Thanks to businesses like Cravens we just celebrated our 20th Anniversary. The Crisis Nursery opened in 1987 to provide a safe haven for children who are at risk of being abused or neglected. Over 50,000 children have found comfort, security, warmth, and love within our walls. We sincerely appreciate your commitment to the at-risk children of our community.
